Frameboxx launches BoxxOffice:

A Practical Course in New Age Advertising Film Making.
Frameboxx ties up with industry stalwart Gyan Correa (of 'The Good Road' fame) to deliver professional training.

Mumbai, September 2013:  India’s leading animation and visual effects training company,  Frameboxx, has launched BoxxOffice, a comprehensive course on new age advertising film making for those wishing to join the growing advertising and entertainment industries.

The course and teaching methodology have been developed by Film Director Gyan Correa, drawing on his experience of Directing over 500 TV commercials. A graduate from the Xavier’s Institute of Communications, Gyan has many years of experience of working with the leading brands of the country. He has shot in several key locales around the globe, and has directed films for Indian as well as International markets. His directorial debut,  "The Good Road”, a feature film, won the National Award in 2013 and has been recently selected as India's official entry to the Oscars next year.

India is emerging as a hub for film and tv content in every sphere from entertainment to the corporate world, science and technology to education, yet the production houses are facing the dearth of qualified trained professionals, said Naveen Gupta, Executive Director & CEO of Frameboxx.

At the same time for any brand to stand out in the over-crowded domain and limited time, there is need for expert story tellers, who are creative and comfortable with diverse technology to create memorable content that engages the consumer, he added. There is increased demand for professionals in ad agencies,  ad/film production houses, TV channels and new media houses offering immediate placement.

Drawing on Frameboxx’s technical support. the 10-months course is a hands-on programme, with a blend of practical, theory, master classes and field visits, and several home assignments. By the end of the course, the students portfolios will feature films scripted, directed and produced by them.

Any student who is computer literate and has access to a computer with non-linear editing system is eligible for the programme. This is a 360 program, covering all aspects of ad film making that a professional need be familiar with - from film appreciation to scripting, from handling actors to the latest film making equipment, from managing a shoot floor to all aspects of post production, from film production to budgeting.

The US Bureau of Labor Statistics forecasts a 14 percent increase in employment upto 2018 in the US film industry, while the Indian entertainment industry itself is slated for 19 percent CAGR (FICCI’s Indian Entertainment and Media Industry Report 2013).

The greatest challenge today is to engage the consumer with the brand, and develop creative contents for diverse media applications and industry, including advertising, sports, television, internet, production houses, cinema, events management, to name just a few.

Frameboxx Animation and Visual Effects was started in late 2007 by a band of techno-evangelists with over a decade of experience in the animation production and training business  With state of the art training centres spanning the nation, Frameboxx has pioneered skills specialization courses and has always led the pack as innovators with its portfolio of skill-based vocational programmes.
